With an emphasis on quality electronic music, encompassing the best of house and techno, the imprint draws on its considerable history whilst looking firmly forwards in partnership with some of the best producers around.
Now the label looks to DJ/Producer Alvaro Brites for the latest release, Brities is Portuguese by birth but has lived previously in London and is now based in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he is embedded into the cities thriving dance music scene. Previously recording for the likes of Remode and Hypnotzd Brites has a reputation for making tech house and techno.
The Code Vision EP kicks of with ‘Interlude’, a deep and emotive piece of electronic music that fuses filtered riffs with broken percussion, rich bass and layered FX to create a timeless cut. Next up we have title track ‘Code Vision’, a bumping house cut that brings together a solid bass driven rhythm track with vocal snippets and melodic riffs to great effect. The single is completed with two versions of ‘Constantino’, the first features uplifting crowd noise, filtered synth stabs and a party groove and the second, ‘dub mix’
dives down into deep chunky house territory with a true old school ‘dub’ workout.
Alvaro Brites’ latest single is another winner and a great addition for the Question of Time label, enjoy.
