founded in 2007 by julien henry (synths & vocals) & marc aumont (bass & vocals), rafale got the meters in overdrive right from the start. they played festivals after festivals (les trans musicales, les découvertes du printemps de bourges, astropolis, art rock...) & stood out thanks to inflammatory shows in which raw rock power melts with rapturous clubbing rave. after the release of two eps (rock it, dont stop itt - excessively blogged - & drive, one of year 2009’s best videos according to french magazine les inrocks) & with the support of the media, this double act grew to a trio when franck richard joined on the drums to work on a third ep produced by arnaud rebotini (blackstrobe):eraser. today rafale releases its brand new 12 inch produced by arnaud rebotini, everglades.
