Following the release of a handful of fifth anniversary EPs, France's Politics of Dancing Records has decided to kick-start a new era for the label via a joint EP from serial collaborator Stephan Bazbaz and sometime Discotech Wax/4Plae Records contributor Alessio Viggiano. To our ears, the undisputed EP highlight is smooth, spacey and rolling opener 'Mogora', a late '90s style UK tech-house/deep house crossover cut that comes accompanied by a smoother and more hypnotic rework by Arapu. Over on the flip, the pair first offer up the more driving, angular and peak-time ready bounce of 'Immortal', before wrapping sharp, angular electronic melodies and warming chords around more bustling beats on bold closing cut 'Amaro'.[info sheet from distr.]
