Maximum Reach

Salem Jabou first solo EP comes directly with a percussive name, aiming the level he reached when younger he officially entered for the first time Maxximum Club in Tunisia.

Back then he didn't know that few years later, he will be locked the whole summer with his friends Emine and Dawan in room number 41 of a beach hotel in the north shore of Tunisia, improvised as a summer camp studio and producing in a row his first EP.

Maximum Reach is a dance-floor oriented track, keeping the spacy imprint of Salem Jabou and pushing the drum excitement and the break frustration to an unusual level of enthusiasm.

Project A is a more intellectual, and despite the cypherised vocal speech, it keeps a level of deepness in a strange future.

41 is probably the most romantic track of the EP, with a long timing and a looped groove, it summarize nicely the end of the day mood of his beach retreat.



ARTIST

Salem Jabou is a Tunisian born DJ and producer.

Parisian based nowadays, he is part of the Mad Recordings crew and hosts with his regular partner in crime Kaïs fews projects, from their Zukunft Night at Terminal Club inviting some of the finest and avant-garde artists, followed by Extra-Cheese his summer parties series in Tunisia.

Salem is also show-casting an overall and mind-open point of vue through uprising artists mixes on Overview Music, the platform he runs and founded back when he was living in Switzerland.

After being part few years of the line-up of the most influentials festivals in Tunisia (Efest as the pioneer with more than 10 years of electronic exploration and Ephemere Festival as the first big scale electronic music event, Salem is now considered as the rising star of Tunisian scene, according to Huffington Post Maghreb.
