Freda & Jackson’s MSH002 is the second offering from Sydney’s Moonshoe Records and their first EP on the label as a duo. In 2016 the two beat-makers burst onto the scene and further-introduced the label with a pair of singles, Persius & Sumluv to a warm response at home and abroad. MSH002, although predominantly house-cuts, sees the pair draw largely on their hip-hop influences with a heavy use of sample chops and and raw percussion. The 5-track maintains an emotional undertone of sadness from front-to-back while each tune holds up as a stand-alone journey.
