About Agoria

Sébastien Devaud aka Agoria started to produce his own music in 1999 and had first hit as early as 2001 with “La Onzième March". Then in 2003 he released his first album, Blossom.

Three years later, for "The Green Armchair", Agoria summons the voices of Peter Murphy and Neneh Cherry. He then found acclaim with “Les Violons en Ivres” & in parallel participated in the creation of both Nuits Sonores Festival in Lyon & the record label Infiné.

In 2008, he scored the movie "Go Fast” produced by Luc Besson. Agoria returns in 2011 with his third highly acclaimed album, Impermanence. This dark and eclectic album also features Carl Craig, Seth Troxler and Scalde. Another two years later, Scala released on Innervisions & became one of 2013’s biggest hits. He then followed the success of Scala with remixes for synth-pop giants New Order, as well as Metronomy.

Today Agoria has expanded his creative boundaries to score cinéma for Jan Kounen, among sound design collaborations with Nicolas Becker (Gravity 127 hours, Batman Begins) for Philippe Parreno’s contemporary art exhibit at the Tate Modern in London.
