The ninth EP from the Magic Waves label comes courtesy of the enigmatic and mysterious Voiceover Woman. We are given four tracks of modern electro-psychedelic wizardry that will surely melt your mind, as well as any dancefloor it comes into contact with. Opening the record is ‘Input Sensitive’, and we’re plunged into a world of swirling synthesiser emotions from the start, tripping hard into ‘Mega Gift’, a monster of a track that not only shifts the speed up a gear or three but funks it out in spaced-up futuristic ways too. Side B brings us ‘Total Rotation Plug-On’ and takes us deeper into lush Aphexian dreamscape dimensions before the whirlwind climax of the record, the closing stormer ‘Convolvo’, expanding any mind it’s aurally connected to at an exhilarating rate. It’s a record that leaves you mentally and physically breathless, and is not one to miss. Comes in limited quantities, and vinyl is coloured!
