Cool Creations of St Maarten were formed in 1975 by Carlyle Barriteau, Funk Gumbs and Winston Macco. They were all in our last year of High School in St Maarten. The name CoolCreations was inspired by Kool and the Gang, one of their off Island influences. The band mainly played hotels, Local Dance Clubs and Carnival Parades and they recorded one LP.
