Uber bring the new Mushrooms Project EP. A slight diversion for Uber into the cosmic afro infused musical stylings that the Mushrooms boys are masters. Madrugada s tribal energy is reminiscent of Tony Esposito or Tullio de Picopo. The Italian afrobalearic groove that we at Uber love so much. The Big Boobs is a slower more contemplative track, still holding onto the percussive feel but with hints of the east. I suspect the title is influenced by last summers trip to the Great Outdoors in Birmingham. Finally we come to the epic musical journey that is African Obsession. Continuing the fine Italian tradition of tribal dance music this is a tight superbly produced trip into afrocosmiche. 15 minutes of hypnotic beauty. Uber hitting the spot again.
