Tanzbar Records presents their first release, a vinyl only two tracker with music from Far Out Radio Systems, which is the techno moniker of Kiani & His Legion (We Play House Recordings, Eskimo Recordings, Defected Records etc.). First up is “Darwin”, a no-nonsense dancefloor with hard-hitting kickdrums and menacing percussion. On the flip, we have the post apocalyptic rhythm track ‘Empty The Tanks (A New Trance Is Here)’ with a Garnier-like subbass and emotive strings. Both tracks, which have been played a lot by the few DJ’s who received a promo, showcase the new musical territories Tanzbar Records wants to venture in: a techno sound that lays somewhere between big rooms and basements, with elements reminiscent of ‘90’s acid, second wave techno and early trance.
