Sebastian Voigt, Cult Leader Of Lokee Musik And Resident Record Slinger Of The Illustrious Salon - Zur Wilden Renate Presents A Four Track Ep On Renate Schallplatten. The Release Includes Two Original Tracks Featuring Different Vocalists, Plus Remixes By Permanent Vacation And Good Guy Mikesh. All Tracks Were Produced, Tested And Approved In Berlins Favourite Madhouse, Wilde Renate.
In his own words, Sebastian explains: “These tracks were made shortly after i moved into my new studio right above the main dancefloor at Renate, where I also play regularly. So saying that the Renate vibes were an inspiration for this EP is a bit of an understatement. The overall aim of this EP (if there was any) was to make music that I would like to hear played in the club. I was introduced to Hllywd through a common friend and when he came down for a first session we just started recording while he was improvising over a track I had been working on. Most of the vocals you can hear in ‘Chapter One’ are from that first take. The piece with Angela came together in a similar fashion. I had been listening to a lot of 80s stuff like Chris and Cosey at that time, which gave me the initial inspiration for the track. When Angela came to the studio we started jamming together, and a first draft of ‘Out Of Sight’ was finished that same day. [txt from ]
