Title track ‘Chord Chased’ opens the single, a brooding tech-house track with its focus predominantly on gritty electronics and low-slung drums. A smooth chord progression runs throughout the track and is softly manipulated adding a progressive feel to things, while simple yet effective drum programming and tense strings build a rock-solid foundation. Up next is ‘Nu Age Humming’, a mood-driven, stripped, house track employing heady low-end tones, warbling Rhodes licks and murmuring vocal lines.
