Dinosaur’s ‘Kiss Me Again’ is a famed disco collaboration by Nicky Siano, Arthur Russell and Talking Heads’ David Byrne, and here it’s given a massive overhaul by Pablo and Shoey, with a brand new intro constructed from snatches of the tune’s many percussion breaks. Using parts from 3 different mixes to emphasise the epic, Northern Soul tinged torchsong at the centre, and featuring additional edits by Siano himself, this one is a winner! On the flip we have a much slept on slice of crazed 21st Century afro-psychedelia from Ashley Beedle’s Black Science Orchestra project, a 6am groover that breaks all the way down to nothing halfway through, before letting loose with a wild drum solo and a ludicrous horn fanfare that has been known to deliver quasi religious experiences on the dancefloor…. We’ve seen it with our own eyes!
