Born in America, raised in Scotland, singing saxophonist Amy Lyon has been writing and singing music for around 6 years and began playing saxophone at the age of 10. With a love for jazz, funk and soul her influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Otis Redding, Amy Winehouse and Erykah Badu. With Marlon Hoffstadt she found an congenial partner to take her songs to the dancefloor. Despite his innocent age of 18 years Marlon’s productions keep up with those of the well known when it comes to quality. Stylistically his sounds are somewhere between pop and house. Marlon has that certain “something” that creates its own character and a very distinctive sound. Their debut EP “You And A Love Stoned Ghost,” contains four enchanting tracks created by the synergy of Marlon’s fresh productions and Amy’s energetic voice.
