ManMakeMusic continue their adventure into the musical hinterland beyond bass, techno, house and garage with two cuts from new signing, Trikk. Hailing from Porto, Portugal, and a recent addition to Londons kaleidoscopic music scene, Trikk effortlessly marries old school charm with new school edge. A-side, ‘Jointly’, takes Robert Hood-esque jackin’ techno drums and unites them with twisted garage vocal chops and relentless bass. On the flip, ‘I Fall Down’ takes things down a gear with an emotive mix of cavernous synth lines, heartbroken vocals and skipping drums which harks back to the finest moments of broken beat.
