Having made his debut with "Future Lately," an absolutely infectious vocal house jam for the newly launched Nervous Records sublabel Nurvous, Saarid dispenses with the vocals on this release, bringing a tougher, peak time vibe for Throne of Blood, "Fever Dream" and "Bad At Love" are clearly indebted to classic house and rave, but these are not your average retro retreads. Dark, moody and hardwired for dancefloor devastation, these tracks have been setting it off for months on promo. From Secret Sundays in London to Making Shapes in LA, "Fever Dream" and "Bad At Love" are road tested and guaranteed bangers mixed to perfection by midwest techno veteran Mark Verbos (who remixed "Silk" for TOB014 by Bicep). Rounding out the release is the return of Los Angeles's Cosmic Kids. Their tropical "Sueno Fiebre" mix marks the duo's return to Throne of Blood following the tremendous success of "Reginald's Groove." Deeper and suffused with Summertime vibes, "Sueno" even features a sexy saxophone solo performed by Julio from Brooklyn disco ensemble Midnight Magic (Permanent Vacation)!
