Not long ago the masonic lodge of nu-italo disco congregated in Rome to attend the Horror-theme dinner Francisco had carefully organized at a secret restaurant, especially closed to the public on that night. Bottin (of Horror Disco fame) was already in the ethernal city, recovering from a sweaty dj gig and so when local electro-disco authority Rodion showed up covered in fake blood to pick him up, they knew it was going to be a night to remember.
Francisco entertained the guests dressed as the invisible man (bandages and all) while the chefs served horrific but exquisite Roman specialities such as
fried brains, calf livers and sweetbreads. Selected red wine for the night were of course bottles of Inferno and Sangue di Giuda (Judas' Blood).

The following day the three producers are working hard in the studio, in the attempt to digest the heavy dinner from the night before.
Francisco swiftly programs and overlaps sampled drums, Rodion works out a wicked bass patch on the moog, Bottin is doing his thing on the Juno and getting funky on the guitar... The stomping discoid rhythm of BFR (our heroes' initials) is already in the air!

Add some dreadful vocal synthesis (imagine some evil robots taking over the dancefloor), finally miss Claire Condor steps in front of the microphone and puts the finishing touch with her sultry punk yells.

This track was conceived as a sharp dj tool since the beginning and we assure you it couldn't be any sharper than this.
So careful when you play it out: you might have to dispose of the bodies afterwards.

After a little rest, and some more fine food, the trio starts playing with Rodion's newest toy, a classic Oberheim DX drum machine.
Add an inhuman amount of analog synth work, throbbing synth bass, mangled guitar, mellotron tape loops mixed with the voices of a dismembered 3-man choir (guess who was singing?) ...Zombie Erotic is born. Or rather, undead.

These tracks have been kept as secret dj weapons for a little while, but as soon as Eskimo A&Rs heard them, they immediately hurried for a speedy pre-summer release on special grey-colored vinyl.
This is dangerous stuff, so play responsibly!
