A very special release here from legendary rave producer Eon, aka Ian Loveday. Loveday, who passed away in 2009, was known and loved for his enduring impact on UK dance culture, although sadly this was the one and only release on his Zarnak Records imprint (although Loveday himself released 12 inches on a host of labels including PAL SL, Vinyl Solution and Plus 8). Upon release the Papal Magnet 12 inch sold out swiftly and soon became a highly sought after record - this batch was found recently and has been passed onto us with the blessing of Lovedays family. On the A Side you will find the relentless late night throb of >Cable Rider< - 90s techno at its finest. Flip over for the moody introspection of >Passing Clouds< and raw, dusty analogue thump of >Crosstown< - our pick of the bunch. An excellent release.
