Clocking at nearly 11 minutes, Plague of New Age is a twisted trip that takes dancefloors up, down and all around. Its intoxicated swagger delivers truly staggering results for both body and mind. Using old school vocabulary with new school grammar, Photonz have created a mental jackin monster that single-handedly sums-up Get The Curses commitment to challenging boundaries and current trends.

On Bach Beetle, old school influences shine once again with its pronounced drum programming. Reminiscent of Warp Records, Luke Vibert and Jackson and His Computer productions, this is no generic remake however: with its decidedly trippy vibe and meandering structure this track truly stands out from the lot, sounding like a forgotten Chris & Cosey dub tailored for the dancefloor. Prince of darkness Maetrik delivers one of his trademark remixes; part banger, part mindtrip and exquisite from start to finish, this track combines a groovy low-end rumble and catchy staccato highs which collide to create a superb rework of the original.

Clement Meyer's remix of Bach Beetle straightens things up without withholding on the twisted, hypnotic vibe of the original. Channelling Electronic Body Music influences with a modern techno twist and built on a simple yet vicious bass line this remix rife with tense build-ups is a one-of-kind dark groover, another fine addition to Meyer's achievements.
