Steve Kotey needs little introduction, head honcho of Bear Entertainment, an accomplished producer and a member of Chicken Lips. Kotey is joined on this record by Max Essa. Having previously released on Paper Recordings back in 2001 Max also played guitar with the infamous, Long Distance Runners. Steve & Max have delivered 3 beautiful records in the shape of the Salon De L Herbe series. This EP offers up everything good that is disco from the up tempo 1974 A side to the spaced out vibes of 1988. If that wasnt enough this 12inch release is finished off with a 3 rd track 1981 on the Cosmic/Balearic tip. The years may become confusing but with live drums, guitars and slick arrangement words cant do these productions justice.
