Known as one of the leading booty turntablist DJs outside of Detroit, DJ Guy formerly released wax and DJed as one half of Londons Non Stop DJs. His previous releases have been given #1 spot charting by Dave Clarke, received global radio play, and received quotes such as >The best record released in 2006 and Ill say in the past 2 years< (DJ Koyote - Diamond Grills, Paris). Global Fire is a new label for 2007, dedicated to releasing a spread of the best in club music. Style-wise, the label will cover Detroit Ghettotech, Baltimore Club, Chicago Juke and more, with releases by a wide variety of artists both firmly established and previously unknown. The EP opens with >Bucked Up<, an all-new booty version of Young Bucks >Get Buck<, the remix keeps the outrageously thuggy bassline and vocals from the original, and adds some cracking booty drums. >Who Wanna< starts like a DJ tool with shades of Steve Poindexters >Work That Mutha Fucker<, and turns into a full on Ghettotech track with vocals to match and a big old growly bassline that builds throughout. >The Raw< is a thumpy dancefloor workout that starts dumb, and gets dumberer when the wonky synth comes in. >The Runner<: Heavy on the melody, beatboxy beats, sweepy organ, phasey strings, cheeky bassline, and previously heard being used to great effect on the Paris Goon & Koyotes classic Diamond Grills mix CD, and more recently on Detroits DJ Godfathers Serato Presents DJ Godfather: For The Freaks, the first ever Serato-commissioned DJ mix. Last but by no means least, >Big Pussy< comes with a stupid funky bassline, warped bass, electro sounds, and vocals about a big cat. With big titties
