for the eleventh installment in the blendits audio series, frequent collaborators mindmapper & silvahfonk are returning to the rotterdam based imprint with their strapping *absolution ep*. the vinyl release includes a download code.
the a-side effort *absolution* evidently showcases the incidental duo s production skill in which the unyielding beats collide nicely with the serendipitous guitar strums and mechanical sound effects that occur throughout. on the b side, the almost herculean sounding drum patterns are continued on *raised*. the ominous pads guide the track into a thriving minute of disarray before turning to a doomy fashion with fierce growls and plenty of drum pattern switches.
