the newbies s100 had a strong year in 2011 with their self-titled debut ep on stockholm ltd. an ep that generated a great deal of buzz before its release with support and plays coming from artists like dvs1, marcel dettmann, ben klock, james ruskin, inigo kennedy, shifted and peter van hoesen. s100s kalibrator and murphy tracks sit on the a-side, with a classic techno formula that includes both an intro and a main track. once again s100 leaves us with nothing else to wish for. staffan linzatti is a stockholm ltd veteran and has been one of the label owner par grindviks favourite artists for years. in 2011 staffan started his own imprint, searchlights, with the first release assembler heading straight to the hearts of the techno purists. searchlights is a label to keep an eye on and will be staffans primary focus for the future. staffans contribution to sthlm ltd 023 prophet of regret comes in three parts, one main track and two interludes which all are wrapped with emotions and strength.
