l one ist ein junger münchner hiphop beatbastler und drumcomputer-liebhaber. mit nur 24 jahren hat er bereits eine beachtliche diskographie als produzent vorzuweisen. darunter die projekte der rap-crews atp “c’est la vie oder was?” (2016 auf bumm clack) sowie weltuntergäng’s “dogmatikers elfen” (2014 auf tieftonkultur) entspringen seiner mpc bzw. seiner sp1200 und haben für aufsehen in der münchner rapszene gesorgt. als teil von akere oder manufaktur wagte er sich in vergangenen jahren auch in neue genres und lieferte neue ansätze zu triphop und dubstep ab.
auf der “farska lp verarbeitet l one seine impressionen seiner kroatienurlaube 2015 und 2016. jeden tag ist hier ein stück am strand mit nur einer mpc60 entstanden, welches entweder die mahlzeit (2015) oder das getränk (2016) des abendessens des vorabends im titel trägt.

the last release of l.s.g. on superstition the best of l.s.g. - the singles reworked in 2004 is now over 1o years ago. in this days l.s.g. was officially set to finished by oliver himself, in order to create a distance to the former commercial trance scene. from the first day l.s.g. was standing always for a variety of sound directions. some called it trance, downbeat or triphop well, with the slight difference of having 2015, l.s.g is back and has now taken the step into a very deep sound - so to speak: back to the roots and restart.

last summer, the berlin-based producer and well-known remixer chris zippel (who already worked with the pet shop boys, robbie williams or ich & ich) already celebrated his very personal interpretation of modern and complex ambient between zwischen triphop beats and melancholic pop references by his genuine horizon album. with this ep, chillout producer zippel has chosen a way quite unusual for him by taking four tracks of the album, making them compatible for the dancefloor with a number of co-producers and proving that dub is still up-to-date in 2008. the ep starts with an interpretaton of electronic spain recordings producer mangelt: again, a straightforward energy flash between reminiscence and modern club sound, takes on the powerful post acid minimalhouse sound a la steve bug. the dane mike salta turns mirror dawn into deep techhouse dub, and also the schwerin-based downtempo producer andre muelle alias vakuum sounds shows that he is influenced by a timelessly valid unterstanding of dub and fragmented s mples by his version of glacier. finally, the tribal progressive house dub of blade remixed by kling klong impresario namito (berlin), undoubtedly the most famous remixer on this ep, goes right into your hips

its the first vinyl release of the hungarian electronic duo (sab & lazybones) at chameleon records label. the disc contains four excellent versions of the track called try. the original version is the bands own pulsating, dynamic, triphop like composition with sabs vocals tramping along the membranes like a road roller. apart from two great dreadzone and paul murphy remixes, the vinyl also contains a high bpm club version radiating a jazzy breakbeat atmosphere. the dreadzone version is an even more rapid and measured piece and its afrobreak rhytms and heavy bass parts will surely not leave the dance floor empty. the last track of side b features the legendary afroart dj, paul murphy who they have already collaborated with on a piece called budapest cha cha cha (afroart records) no doubt secta chameleons try will prove a real treat in europes electronic music scene
