we are really proud to present you the very first release of bad barbie records, in which you will have the opportunity to hear a delightful selection of deep house, tech house and techno grooves in the near future. for our first ep, we have specially delivery from both of our label founders, aldo cadiz and toby holguin, in which aldo, with diamond dps, intents to put you in superb deep trip with a fantastic combination of some already know and popular guitar lines, with a fully percussive and hypnotic base. toby in the other side, has decided a much electronic and experimental path, with a carefully selected combination of sounds that blended along the continuous bass line and vast fx in the background, creates a delicate and controlled deep tech groove.

for this spectacular release, we have the pleasure to bring you an amazing four track selection called eden ep by giuseppe cennamo, which also includes a fantastic remix by the romanian artist dubphone. for the a side, we have eden first, a beautiful minimal house blend with a strong hypnotic base that makes the listener float with its soft female vocals and texture pads in the backend. the second track is strong bodies and in it we can fully appreciate a techier approach with a groovy low-end construction, which gets perfectly complemented with several percussive articulations and of course, some delicate synth sounds in the background too. as first track of the b side, we have dubphone s remix of strong bodies that relies on a magnificent low-end with a truly peculiar night club sound that can easily get you into a fantastic trippy vibe alongside the several and complex fx elements that distracts you constantly from the base elements. the second track from this side is visionary, and it presents a more joyful base vibe than the previous tracks with some delicate deep elements that creates a subtle and refined sound that reflects the top-notch quality of the whole release.

following up our previous daniel sanchez release, we are more than proud to have for this one the impropmtu remixes ep edition which includes 4 fantastic remixes by nima gorji, martinez, doubtingthomas and faster.

for this vinyl release we have the pleasure to bring you a collaboration between three great producers, andre butano and arfil, which is the new duo that includes argenis brito and phillipe liard. their release is called arbolea ep and it contains two original tracks.

we have the tremendous pleasure to welcome manuel de lorenzi to bad barbie records with his company ep, including three ground-shaking tracks for our next vinyl release.

for the second bad barbie records vinyl release of 2016 we are more than exited to bring you the magnificent work from the bla bla music owner daniel sanchez with his impromptu ep. here we have four amazing pieces where each one tells a different history. the first one pearled into droplets saw the light after a great live jam and the result is combination of several layers of base elements with subtle minimalistic articulations. these, in combination of the bass and synths lines do create a truly amazing micro house piece. the second one vague, is an atmospheric dub were a single synth chord raises in slowly, followed by a very subtle kick and bass line to set a bit of rhythm to the whole thing, creating a superb dreamy vibe while the chords do their thing with delicate reverbs and delays in the backend. a great musical piece indeed. for the third track we have yi, again another amazing micro house jewel born from a live jam, but this one is even more energetic than the first one and it also includes, besides a rocking bass line, analog synth chords that lifts up the mood during specific moments, which also do their part articulating themselves perfectly with some occasional twisted vocals that helps create an amazing party vibe from beginning to end. and if this wasn t enough we also have bedroom stories vocal tool that daniel included with his delivery, which can help spice up a dj set with ease.

all this work together creates a very hypnotic but strong vibe getting completed by some subtle deep synths stabs and some wicked fxs on the base elements, which rounds up the whole vibe of the remix perfectly. two greatly executed remixes that haves a subtle groove swift but also keep the soul from the original track intact, as any great remixes should.

3 techhouse tracks

our next big release at bad barbie, going out on digital and 12 inch, comes by the hand of aldo cadiz itself, but this time partnered with kareem cali. these two made a fantastic three track ep called monita ep. the first track monita presents a solid base created with a classic tech style and an extremely groovy bass line. full of small arrangements and a crazy vocal line, this tracks its perfect for any club dj. the second track bonita, is the one with the more old school vibe, from the bass line to the main acid synth, which goes evolving softly with a filter during the track to generate the needed tension. all this with a strong tech groove to follow the step of this solid ambience created by the acid synths. the last track moni, also has many techno and acid elements presents. we can perceive the techno soul mainly on the arrangement of the hi-hats and bass line, but the acid synth in triplet at the backend is what generates the crazy vibe and almost hypnotic feeling during the track, playing around with the volume of it. definitely a fantastic release to add to any collection.
