as is generally known, the night is not limited to the time dimension but has also a spatial dimension. the darker the night, the more artificial is the light and the more the even apparently well known places become unreal. patrick pulsinger resorts to such dusk-to-dawn places by using his three excellent tracks of his new release >nocturnalcat<. or to tell it better: he makes us streying.
plays and support from: mandy, matthew dear, tobi neumann, shaun reeves, luciano, lee burridge, thugfucker, bill patrick, lee curtiss, subb-an, butch, dubfire, manik, huxley, droog,..

positioned as lesser-known little brother to adam beyers globally renowned drumcode brand, truesoul has to varying extent existed in the shadows since its conception in 2002. never designed to be a label that you could set your watch by, releases have come sporadically over the past nine years, albeit when they have come they have always made an impact.
zexy the second! belgrade producer lady zellyana takes us on a journey from belgrade to berlin. together with her producer colleague patrick arbez (ton liebt klang) she created four tracks with dark and driving sounds. but above all full of power!

the connaisseur family welcomes its youngest member: ava myra flitsch. the daughter of hilary and alex flitsch was born november 15th, 2011 and both the parents and good friends of the label celebrate this miracle with this release. all participating artists were asked to produce a very personal piece of music. the style was left up to the artists, resulting in a beautifully mixed batch of great tracks. the intro track hello! by dop & masomenos features a little vocal snippet as a salutation by masomenos adriens son and it is an atmospheric, soundscapish and beatless tool.
following up the success of patrick del rey?s disconneced ep, rotraum music announces the release of the remixes . although based on the similar original song, ricardo motta, mr gil and dominik vogel are providing very different techhose tracks which are indeed genuine themselves.
new limited vinyl-only release from the trust orbit: scram01 combines cold futurism with a pulp sci-fi mood, cool berlin dub techno flavours with melodramatic detroit strings. side a is a pounding acid trance epic by vienna techno maestro patrick pulsinger (cheap records, r&s, disko b), side b has the slightly more melodic original plus bonus beats. limited to 300 copies.
>call me< is a welcome dose of precisely what we all need right now: a brilliant ray of sunny electro disco to warm up our winter dancefloors. dj nibc, the berlin-based, gothenburg-born dj, producer and trunkfunk records label owner has joined forces with fellow swedish house cat patrick l for a collaborative effort that offers a fresh, playful and breezy take on deep disco grooves. the dj nibc mix rides a languid summer afternoon tempo, accompanied by shimmering light beams and sweet synth chords, rising to a peak of uplifting strings and soulful vocals that weave around the tracks core retro melody. the patrick l mix gives the full polyphonic treatment, shifting the filtered strings to the intro, intensifying the bass, and using subtle punchy cut-ups in contrast with patricks crystal-clear vocal treatment. fellow swede tiger stripes completes the trio of countrymen, with a tiger stripes remix that moulds the track into an urgent dancefloor cut, emphasising an irresistible bass melody, a thudding kick drum, and classic house stabs of synths and voice. londons newest simmering hot creations signee funnels even more sunshine into his rework, as the crea albas lost soul remix splays out the the tracks high hats and fills all available spaces with arcs of retro synths and cosmic reverb.
superdisko 06 enters the late summer with a melodic house smasher from viennese underground stars smacs and patrick kong, it is the first vinyl release of smacs and patrick kong on the superdisko label, 2008 they opened the catalogue with their great >sender/ receiver< digital release, now they are back with >innocence< in a dirty mood! superdisko label boss tobias oliver comes with a fat remix of >innocence< in a driving techno style with analogue chords and pads and brings the track into a sunny 90ies feeling....
marc de vole & patrick muschiol create a nice late summer track for rennbahn records. the warm melodies combined with the catchy vocals by the singer charly are typic for the song. inclusive hot remixes by rodriguez jr. (mobilee) and miyagi.
incl outstanding tumr 3 remix ... well done a new side of marc de vole! big tracks produced with patrick muschiol and burning rmx by oscar barila & oscar sala (parquet, acker dub) and turm 3 (damm rec., m.m.a.d rec.)...
12 inch with 1 new quehenberger original (uffuff) and a trio of near remixes from his latest album hazard (released as laton 047 in 2009). patrick pulsinger tackles new beat, in his unique future funk sound. a welcome return of elin (who hasnt been on a mego record since 1995, check mego 003). he slurps out a version of hey gert, making it into an slamming slowed down twister of a track. this leaves the pumping excess of altroys (minimal sould) keep talking remix.
one of the leading figures in the modern house and techno movement, patrick chardronnet returns to audiomatique with another surefire weapon for the summer. >pleasant day< is perfect for the open air season, yet contrary to what its title suggests, its a dark, funky and freaky tune that carries many trademarks of the audiomatique sound. liquid synths and acidic bass fused with modern drums are all precision engineered to the super high quality level youd expect from chardronnet. the lush and divinely deep >aim< takes us further into the sound capabilities of this seasoned studio hand. fluttering, tropical moods soar through colourful layers of dubbed synth textures and strong, surging bass
the next coup by sirion records is from none other than one of the founding fathers, fedja haueter aka feodor and his fellows alex torriglia aka mo-tek and beni dossenbach aka balance. the trio, better known as vol-tek, has played a key role since the very beginnings of sirion s musical outpours and was represented in sr001 with a remix. numerous remixes and their own release sr005 - vol-tek - male & female are further to be mentioned. a part from sirion records the trio was represented at friends labels such as cristian paduraru or samy freshs augenringe records. but their next big thing is yet to come, as the threesome has been finishing tracks throughout the past year and surely need to be reckoned with in the future. the tracks after dark and conciliator are both rather deep, playful tech-house gimmicks, enriched with a bit of progressive.
patrick lindsey is no new comer . active in the techno world since more than a decade , releasing music on labels like terminal m , kanzleramt , kling klong , sci_tec to name a few . so when davide squillace and luca bacchetti received a demo from the german producer , they were really impatient to open the zip file and discover what was inside . the two discovered a four track ep full of analogue synths , organic beats and grooooove . so here is hideout ninth reference : get up and bounce ep by patrick lindsey . it all starts with > what i remember < a very strong anthem with a disco funk loop background and deep vocals by k. mason. the title track > get up and bounce < is next with its hypnotic >get up< voice snipet on top of a shuffled semi acoustic groove full of cow bells and snare drums. third track of the ep is named lockruf , evolving from a jazz sample thru vocal snipets , crazy drum rolls and saxo hooks. the last track of the ep is schleifkraft where a straight to the point chicago groove is topped with some more vocals , a very bouncy bass line and analogue synth sounds . a new reference in the hideout catalogue , four new techno tracks soon to become classics !
right after the success of his massive crude ep on adam beyer s famous drumcode imprint, patrick comes up with the titletrack dome - and boy what a follow-up it is! over ten minutes patrick keeps the tension high, teases us with the raw force of dome over just a few little kickdrum pauses until the track goes through the roof in on hell of a break! on the flip we have hot mess, another primetime weapon, and this one patrick produced together with per hammar, who made a name for himself with releases on great stuff, starlight and kant over the last year, but it was especially his track el salvador on mija rec. a few months ago that introduced per to a bigger audience, causing quite a stir on dancefloors worldwide!
cooltool is young sublabel of well-known russian highway records imprint run by rayo & mike spirit. for the debut cooltool release they engaged talented american-ukrainian duo technique & yaroslove. technique & yarosloves duo was formed in 2005 and since that time they released numerous eps on european labels and participated in such big events as kazantip republic. for cooltool records technique & yaroslove provided beautiful track >southwater<. completed with stunning remixes by patrick zigon (cocoon, puzzle traxx, highgrade) and alexkid (f communications, cadenza, rekids), >southwater ep< is perfect start for cooltool records - so this label is definitely worth to keep an eye on it.
christoph abele aka catekk is very young but an adept. for years not only resident-dj of the legendary club flex in vienna but also live-act, sound engineer and together with christopher groove a promising producer-duo. even though catekk and groove have only been working together since 2010, they already produced for scene-headliners such as felix da housecat or marco bailey. however, catekk not only produces thrilling pieces for the just named heroes - his own releases can be found in countless vinyl bags and dj-charts. now the label houztekk records is releasing a long hidden jewel from catekks live-repertoire.
THATS WHAT IT IS (PATRICK KUNKEL / ROCCO CAINE RMXS)
12 Inch 29.10.10
austrian musican martin brunner aka madney moon scores with two refreshing tracks. with a wonderful catchy melody, the first track >is it hot< sounds quite imposing. patrick kunkel (coccon recordings) does a very nice remix and straightens the framework. the second original mix >is it what< is a powerful contemporary techno track with a dark concise vocal. its therefore no wonder that rocco caine does his typical deep interpretation of that track. the remix sounds monstrous and gives your spoilt feet all they want and love on the techfloor.
a long term promoter and dj in sweden, patrick siechs transition to production has been a sucessful one, following a few releases for the kant label, is now welcomed aboard adam beyers long-running techno mainstay. >crude<, due to the combination of incredibly detailed (and tripped-out) edits/sound evolution and a lolloping loose bassline, is a woozy peak time anthem which doesnt quit. b-side, >bad carnival<, is a heavily percussive, contemporary tribal techno cut which takes no prisoners.

following up his smash hits the end & power on hot label work it baby, the house mastermind producer patrick alavi delivers a pulsing electro fueled floor rocker, an insane piece of floor burnin action.
the viennese djs and producers smacs & patrick kong transformed their studio into a grow room. >no more experiments!< says smacs, when being interrogated about specific preparations for gigs outside of the austrian capital. their critics say: >on the long run the move towards self catering and regional consumer awareness will lower the production output of s&p<. the critics are full of shit though, because the opposite is happening. the recording booths new dedication >gives (you) wings< as a globally known austrian marketing slogan states. >growers< simply became their new single theme. of course dirt crew is around handling business when things get dirty in the techno scene. but instead of cleaning up, the two berliners mash the dope up with their favorite flavors and create special blend of its own, which will probably make it into this years finals of the legendary grand cup. indoor or outdoor, this tune will work!
side a true feel good summer tech house tune that sets incredible atmosphere with wonderful female vocals and a great clubby arrangement. played by: joris voorn, r.hawtin, anja schneider, gel abril, coyu, osunlade, nick holder, jimpster, nils nuernberg
2nd single from the patrick cowley & jorge socarras album >catholic<. bleeding edge remixing by oni ayhun and noble editing by morgan geist added for your pleasure. while still everybody keeps guessing whos behind the mysterious and burning hot works of oni ayhun, macros got the mans first ever remix! o.a. obscured cowleys >memory fails me< with his trademark darkness and took it to the edge of engineering. and its got all that feeling, too! if you asked yourself what a forward-thinking patrick cowley might have done today - here is a serious offering. >burn brighter flame< is the disco heart of the album. with all disco crate digging of the decade, >bbf< is the ultimate find. since the original artists had intended this one to be a single theres also a stunning instrumental! we just remember how everybody got tears of joy when finn johannsen mixed the different versions of this for the first time at berlins picknick. who could have been asked for an edit of this gem other than metro areas morgan geist? creating a dialogue between the vocal and instrumental versions, his edit offers even more variety for the dj to mix in and out of this great tune.
incl. patrick lindsey remix. label boss christian schachta returns once more with two new cuts of grinding bass and razor-sharp percussion for your listening pleasure. >sugar bombs< pairs up grungy bass with metallic artificial vocal stabs which arrange themselves into a solid techno groove. >sweet market< strips it all back to basics, spitting occasional claps, bleeps and snares, whilst the growling bass returns, growing in intensity as the track progresses. old school bad nauheim techno hero patrick lindsey re-invents >sweet market< into a driving techno-house thumper, complete with clapping and chanting, vocal snips and chicago styled hats, ready to give the party a big boot in the ass in fine style!
roxour is proud to present fresh music from r-04, a very talented mid 20 boy from downtown tokyo. for r 04 things started about 10 years ago when testing out his first syntheziser. from japanese fascination of composing and living game music soon he was fascinated by the magic of detroit techno. aside from that, he plays on the grand piano with that jazzy - and funkyness of an early stevie wonder. r-04s music is reflecting the city where he comes from. he says many tall inorganic buildings and night scene always inspire me. his first official release gazing at the moon is somewhere between jazz and techno. its a kind of tribute to the so called chu shu no meigetsu convention, the autumn time in japan, when no one can ignore the beauty of the big shiny full moon. also i composed this track meaning that we had better keep emotional leeway to enjoy the full moon no matter how busy we are. patrick alavis ace remix is turning the jazz and detroit techno rooted original into a deep roller.
patrick begins with his techno bomb “tooth n nail”, a track that showcases a heavy detroit influence with smooth synth work reminiscent of productions from robert hood and carl craig. midway through the track, patrick keeps us guessing with a wobbly synth line that adds playfulness to an otherwise straightforward, moody journey. an understated use of serene female whispers throughout gives this tracks techno classicism a fresh sound. next patrick gives us “davinches”, a chugging tech-house track that pairs a deep, buoyant bass line with a tight, resonant kick, giving it a dynamic groove. patricks tight percussion work keeps things moving with its rims, clicks, and ticks set against a spooky, playful melody that energizes and propels the track to its finish. fans of guido schneider won’t want to miss this one! on the flip, nyc’s elon of clink recordings fame, and a newcomer to klectik, takes on remix duties with a minimal techno take on patrick’s “tooth n nail”. elons version is a pulsating, stripped down mind-bender marked by sub-bass and the sporadic clangs of raw machinery — sexy! this remix maintains the smooth character of patricks original in melodic sensibility, but stands on its own via sparse rhythmic patterns resulting in a deeper, moodier treatment.
lost for 30 years - unreleased masterpieces by disco legend patrick cowley and indoor life singer jorge socarras - remixed by morgan geist (metro area) & kink (rush hour)! first single from the forthcoming album “catholic” by patrick cowley & jorge socarras. “soon” is a dark proto-techno track with hypnotic lyrics and warped synths, while “robot children” builds on a rigid sequencer bassline and futuristic sounddesign. these masterpieces were lost for 30 years and get released for the very first time! the first remix comes from no one less than metro area’s morgan geist - and it’s arguably one of his best mixes to date. responsible for environ’s unclassics series, he certainly was the first call for the job. his rework transforms cowley’s trademark production sound into 2009, respectful for authenticity and forward thinking at the same time. rush hour’s kink has turned heads with his incredible production skills and live appearances. his remix of “soon , derived from the original’s drum machine sounds, catapults the track to the future. bass heavy with a rugged beat, this is one to cross boundaries from techno to dubstep to experimental!
