david lynch twin peaks kinofilm von 1992 erhielt 3 internationale auszeichnungen (alle für den kult-soundtrack von angelo badalamenti) und 5 weitere nominierungen. nach dem serien soundtrack und vor der neuen serienfortsetzung in 2017 erscheint auch dieser nun im neuen deluxe-format. das 180g doppel-vinyl erscheint in remastered qualität in kirschroter farbe und befindet sich in einem gatefold-sleeve, das wiederum von einem schwarz lackierten, formschön ausgestanzten aussenschuber umgeben und mit einem obi strip komplettiert wird. das neue artwork wurde sowohl von regisseur david lynch, als auch vom komponisten angelo badalamenti freigegeben. die neuen sleevenotes stammen von filmkritiker mark kermode.
