Bitches Brew are back with their next wild installment - Purple Somersault. If the previous release was filed under Country Dub Tronica, this release is Psychedelic Surf Cosmic Disco. Kind of like Link Wray wipes out with Giorgio Moroder. An interesting and rather beautiful concept, in fact the whole Wild Rumpus story is rather interesting and beautiful. Two pioneers of forward thinking music, but from very different backgrounds combine to make the kind of music you simply cant ignore but at the same time cant quite put your finger on.
