So we went predominanlty stateside for our last outing, and decided to bring things back home this time. HOYA003 is a strictly UK affair. Opening up on the A-side is one of rudest producers and DJs the UK has going for it. This aint a comment on her manners though, they are as impeccable as her production. After Ikonika sent us a zip of some Hoya potentials, we just knew >Fleas< had to be the one featured on this 12 inch. A more sinister, rolling, emotional jam, it still packs as much as punch as Ikonikas DJ sets. Kicking off the B-side is the homie Om Unit. Now, this guy … this guy. Are there any superlatives left to desribe his sonic masterpieces that have rocked too many dancefloors and had as many producers scratching their heads and re-assessing their mix-downs? An instant favourite, >Fibonnaci 10< was one of the earliest cuts lined up for a release and when you listen you will see why. This guy. Seriously. Bringing things to a close, we hand over to one of our favourites from the flourishing Cardiff scene. Why doesnt Monky have more music out? is one of those questions that has been asked too many times for our liking. So much so, we may have to take it upon ourselves to change that.
