Jam EP consists of four tracks by different Russian artists. Paul Ksky opens the EP with smooth, melodic, slowly pulsating 'What U Want'. Paul is from Saint-Petersbourg and runs his own radio show Deep Connection on Russia's number one dance radio station 'Megapolis FM'. Currently he is more into 90s sound regarding his dj sets and studio work. We are waiting for his new album dedicated to Paul's hometown.

Originally from Izhevsk, but now also lives in Saint-Petersbourg - Grigory Babak gives us a bit of disco flavour with his 'Forgive & Forget' and generally brightens the whole EP with his sound. Grigory is actively touring around Russia with his dj sets and slowly becomes recognizable in Europe as well, thanks to his latest contributions to Barcelona-Berlin based Neovinyl Recordings.

The B side opens with more serious grooves by Artyom Xio and his breakbeat-flavoured dance floor smasher 'Nine-Ohh-Nine'. Artyom has been in the game for quite a while as a dj and as a producer. Recently known as Wax Ninja's co-founder, whose solo '3 AM EP' started shop's same-titled imprint last year and SubUrbz underground music community co-head, after which this label was titled after.

Denis Pak0 closes this selection with his nostalgic 'Alright' giving some tribute to the roots of the genre. Denis lives in the North part of Russia in Arkhangelsk city. His 'Legacy' EP on Moscow's Capital Bass a few years ago gave him a nice kick in terms of recognition on the Russian dance scene. Now you can hear him playing anywhere between Moscow and his hometown.
