Room II Records is a new imprint run by two brothers based in London, which focuses on giving a platform to up and coming artists. ‘The Black EP’ is the first in the series. Kicking off the series are three tracks by TR all varying in style and technique. Soft pads and playful keys bounce along a grooving bassline on EP and every future summer set opener ‘Fantasia’. ‘UB City’ is made up of field recordings taken from a recent trip TR made to India last summer. The flip side shifts again culminating in a live drum breakdown that’s supported by a subtle, acidic bass line - ‘10AM Acid Jam’ is an outright dancefloor weapon.
