Bass Mooy, label boss at Mord Records, supplies his take on Currupttion, bringing up the pace and turning the spacious original into something altogether more dense and percussive. The third helping comes from touring veteran Black Asteroid, who here draws on his industrial background and fuses it with the futurism of the source material, resulting in a twisting, otherworldly adventure. Closing up the EP is Chicago’s DJ Hyperactive, who reliably takes apart Time Traveler’s Timestretcher 17121985, before putting it back together upside down and ending up with a tight, club-ready and hypnotic track that lives up to the artist’s name.
