Not too long ago a jiffy bag arrived at Parkwest HQ. In it was a scratched TDK case with a SA-X tape containing a musical message from years past, simply marked THE TAPE I LOST! We sat and listened, able to pinpoint influence and reference but yet hearing something totally new. That this tape surfaced and made it across the years and the miles to us was fortunate. When the synth part came through clear on a later version on the tape, allowing us to remix then it became destiny. Emotion, melody and rhythm will always be timeless and these tracks, selected from that tape, are as relevant today as they ever were.
