Following the S_W_Z_K debut album, which came out on Tresor Records before the summer, David Brown offers here further insights into the most recent developments of his new departure. Receiving the help of long-time collaborator and friend Richard Davis, the duo continues its dive into the concrete and metallic landscapes found on their eponymous LP effort. The Variant & Empires EP however marks somewhat of a slight departure from the obscure experimental investigations previously undertaken. TC4 Variant is a roaring number, aiming specially at the dancefloor and taking the duos energy to its highest point, while Second City Of The Empire intimately unveils the deeper side of their enterprise.
