the story of Steppah Huntah is the story of two musicians - Steven J, a bass player and Oless t, a pianist, and a chance meeting at a Strasbourg jazz club one Autumn evening in 2002. The duo were soon inspired to work together to fuse their love for jazz, afrobeat & funk in the service of a new driven sound, powered by the seemingly endless possibilities offered by new computer technology. Instinctively, the musicians looked west to the emerging beat and kind of jazz style, deeply influenced in their musical experimentation by pioneers such as Incognito, Talking Loud Label. Remix made by Japanese producer and DJ whos made a name for himself worldwide in the last few years is Mitsu the Beats. That makes his beats very original & unique & not belonging to any one kind of music.
