Sales Information:

Once a distant message written in the stars, the wisdom of Soul Clap has been beamed down to Earth in the form of EFUNK - Everybody’s Freaky Under Natures Kingdom - their debut album on Wolf + Lamb. Now the label presents EFUNK: The Remixes. The original on the remix package (B.2) is Soul Clap and Mel Blatt’s sublime version of The Korgis’s classic ‘Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime’, blending the soulful 80s pop and piano/organ melody with a surge of breakbeat and bass/clap/scratch combination to form ‘Need Your Lovin’. In the opening remix San Francisco producer Nitetime injects a kick and bassline bounce to deliver a bomb for the summer - feel- good piano house bathing in pools of warm pads and deep chords. Album cosmic closer ‘Islands In Space Part 2 feat. Greg Paulus’ gets the remix treatment from main boys Tanner Ross & Slow Hands who lend the original a beating heart, soft strings, smoothed down groove and twilight mood. On the B-side Wolf + Lamb regulars No Regular Play strip back ‘Trouble Trouble Trouble’ into a soul-burning house groover distilling the vocal to mist and exalting the melody for a maximum dancefloor high.
