Culprit Records is the imprint of Los Angeles party organizers Droog. Culprit has previously only had digital releases, from Hot Natured, Lee Foss, Matt Tolfrey & Kenny Gibson. This latest release on vinyl is by SECT, a four-man production team compromising of the infamous Soul Clap (Airdrop, Wolf & Lamb, Crosstown) alongside Boston House heroes Tanner Ross (Voodex / Dirtybird) and Sergio Santos, comprising in SECT. The Man of Wisdom 3 track EP, features three monstrous, mid-tempo killer house tracks. A1 >Man of Wisdom< is a sparse, dubby, exotic horn infused workout. B1 >Hi-Fi All Around< invokes almost an R&B feel to the stripped down psychedelic micro house, whilst B2 >SECTsy< is a swirling slice of heady house pie. This EP is the perfect antidote, combining lots of exotic elements and showcasing the best of Boston, MA, producers.
