■ Der walisische DJ Sasha wurde im Jahr 2000 in einer Umfrage des DJ Magazine zur weltweiten Nr. 1 DJ gewählt. Darüber hinaus ist er vierfacher Gewinner des International Dance Music Award und für den Grammy Award nominiert. Sasha hat für Größen wie Madonna, Moby, The Chemical Brothers und andere geremixt. Im Jahr 1999 veröffentlichte er die EP „Xpander“, die den Preis "Best Techno/Trance 12"" bei den International Dance Music Awards 1999 gewann und als Höhepunkt seines Genres gilt. Benannt wurde die EP nach dem Oberheim Xpander-Synthesizer, der im Titeltrack prominent zum Einsatz kommt. Der Titeltrack gilt bis heute als einer der besten Trance-Tracks aller Zeiten. „Xpander „enthält auch die Progressive-House-Tracks "Belfunk", "Rabbitweed" und "Baja".
