The opening track from the album, Inner Soul (slow version) was included on the recent JAZZANOVA compilation marking Sonar's 200th release (SK200). ROLAND APPEL rose to fame as a member of FAUNA FLASH with his long-time partner and friend CHRISTIAN PROMMER with whom he also formed TRÜBY TRIO (together with RAINER TRÜBY). He's released his own tracks and remixes on renowned labels such as Compost Records, G-Stone Recordings and !K7. APPEL also worked with PROMMER and PETER KRUDER on the sublime electronica of VOOM:VOOM. New Love is one of the highlight tracks from APPEL's new album, Talk To Your Angel (SK188CD/elektrish), and the TUFF CITY remix is nothing short of outstanding.
