The A-side features two new tracks by Robert, >Dark Flower< & >Spiralboogie<. >Dark Flower< showcases Roberts typical handwriting: a dry, but funky groove construct with melancolic and deep synths while some highly seductive bass slaps create this very special Babicz feeling. >Spiralboogie< spreads its magic on A2. Slowly building, having the funk in the trunk and fully focussed on simple, but reliable qualities. Forward ever, backwards never. The flipside holds our chefs suggestion: an extraordinary Joris Voorn remix of >Dark Flower< which already stirred a huge buzz when Steve Bug tested it on his recent Japan-tour or Robert played it out in Brasil last month. Joris Voorns mix perfectly combines floating harmonies with a thrilling drive. Simply irresistible
