Another debut on Basic Fingers, this time we head over to Japan and the mysterious KGO production team. The first edit is >Six Millions Steps< by Rahni Harris, a well known soul drenched disco classic that has been slightly pitched down and infused with more boogie loveliness. >Something Special< by Donald Byrd and the Blackbyrds is both a pianists workout and a lovely Jazz-Disco track full of melodic character. KGOs Edit owes respect to the original and is a perennial favourite in the Basic Fingers camp.
