Flagrant Foul is the busy opener. A flurry of 909s set the tone as a sparse, paranoid synth echoes around the mix up top to make for a deep techno track a real eeriness. Leech is then a tunnel vision groove which is streamlined and stripped back to icy ticking hi hats and rumbling bass, and Submit is a dark passage of interweaving drones and edgy pads that takes you deep into a rabbit hole. Lastly, Velvet Lips features more bristling drum programming, but softened by the pensive pads that linger in the air above.
