Techno titan Marco Faraone is branching out with a new sub label called Uncage Swap Series that will focus on a more house leaning sound. Kicking off the exciting project is a young artist called Premis from Berlin with a remix from Work Them boss Spencer Parker. Little is known about Premis but on the evidence of this first EP he has a real sense of his own musical style.

First up is 'Akward Eye Contact', a deep but driving house track with gorgeously warm and soulful chords, while the Parker remix is much more bumping and designed to get the club sweating. 'Commonly Known' then delves into Detroit styles with slick percussion, zoned-out pads and busy, bristling drums all taking you on a real late night trip with an electro tinge. Last of all, 'Lost In A Rental' is a raw, lo-fi cut with old school breakbeats, big chord stabs and heartfelt vocal samples all making it a fantastic closer to this great first EP.
