Pittsburgh Track Authority return with a new single-sided limited edition edits record on the imprint that bears only their own logo. “I Always Wanted To Be In A Band” kicks things off in an early 70s soul jazz style, with infectious vocals and catchy horns doing the damage. Next, a flute driven cover of the dance classic “Lowdown” keeps the disco-funk vibes of the original but with added springtime/summer vibes. Both of these have done damage for PTA at their gigs, and now they can do damage for you at yours. A fitting end to the magenta logo series!
