Redpanda is a new vinyl-only label from Moscow run by Roustam (All Inn, Gipsy). Its main focus is in featuring great forward thinking artists that are creating the music of tomorrow and releasing it on wax with the highest standards of quality!

The first release comes from the Romanian wunderkids Phrasis Veteris with The Nocturn Ep and what a treat it is. A lot of has been said about the amazing Romanian scene recently — some say it's full of hype, others think it saved dance music. We're going to refrain from making any judgments and want to just let the music speak for itself, because in the end that's what really matters!

The A-side kicks off with Drumtalk — a funky, syncopated upbeat number. This is a great percussive jam already supported with the like of Onur Ozer, Raresh. It's followed by the title track Nocturn, which gives atmosphere and feeling to the entire release.

The flipside features Sundaymoon a deep and introspective cut for your mind, body and soul, as they say. Soulspeak rounds off the release on a more positive note with bright interludes and a tight groove. This release is perfect for the spring time and gives us hope for a better tomorrow with good music. Full support from Petre Inspirescu, Valentino Kanzyani, Livio & Roby and many others. Enjoy!
