In 1996 Paul Birken released the classic and now rare as hens teeth Surfin Superior double 12inch on Woody McBrides Communique label. This was to be a revered and respected record that influenced many and is still talked about and played today. Now, some 19 years later he follows it up with part 2. Nobody works as hard at getting human sounding chattering from their machines as Birken and here he treats us to 8 massive cuts of grinding Techno that are as humorous as they are danceable.
