Following his recent collaborations with Ai Records, Electronique.it, and Icon of Desire, passEnger finally comes back to Eclipsemusic to release a new 12 vinyl record, titled Chord Abuse EP. The release takes off with Solar Flare, one of passEngers most airy, housey and positive works till now, with its melodic sequence and uplifting atmosphere. On the same side of the 12 inch, Surface Debris de-construct the classic techno elements to build an abstract, moody, hyper-cynetic slice of futuristic techno. On side B Solar Flare gets then a special remix treatment by Stephen Brown, one of the most personal and notable European Techno producers: the result is a tight, swinging rework of tiny slices of the original, turning the track into a classic techno builder..
