‘Landmarks’ follows the success of Grindvik’s premiere LP ‘Isle of Real’, released via Stockholm LTD in May, an album which spans the breadth of Grindvik's influences from his 20 year career. Here, the focus is firmly on the club floor. SLOBODA label head Tule bookends the release with two tracks of paralleled intensity. ‘Kuortane (Landmarks)’ pairs grainy, ethereal chords with thundering drums, while ‘Bleed’ closes the EP with nervous percussion layered underneath bubbles of twisted melody.
