Helsinki-based Non Person has been crafting his quirky audio sculptures since 2006, embracing the citys burgeoning experimental music scenes as his playground. From dirty club tracks to audio installations and deep listening, he is no stranger to the numerous ways of compressing organic emotions into expressions in data. Coming from one of the first local proponents of the new wave of multicoloured beat music moving feet in select locations around the globe, Presenser / Mi Empress is a study in elasticized electronic hip-hop and moist, yet fiery 140bpm bass structures. The first release bearing the Non Person name, this one is a keeper. Channel Zero is a new label run by Dead-O of Clouds with the aim of pushing new, forward-looking music to new sets of ears around the globe, with no boundaries set as to the type of music being released.
