Canoe is the new label from Nyra that finds him indulging his personal musical preferences while still retaining his club-ready tendencies already established on labels such as Never Learnt, Elastic Dreams and more. For the second Canoe release Noface has been invited along to deliver the A-side track, and it s a killer slice of jazz-laced bumping house replete with sax and vibes. Where -Young Larry- plays things fast and loose, Nyra s -Sisco Visco- on the B-side is an unabashed disco burner with a tight-as-you-like beat and plenty of filter-swept samples to keep the party sizzling.
